Reviews For the Secret of Slytherin
I am now very worried about Draco (though I admit I still don't trust him). You are a very talented writer, you know. There's not many authors who can take an essentially unlikeable character and write them in such a way that the reader grows to care about what happens to them even when they are still a person that you wouldn't want to socialize with. But you can do it, and you do it incredibly well. If you want to know why I've been able to red all these chapters today, its because I'm reading on my laptop while IT works on my desktop computer. Once they get that working again my reading and reviewing will probably slow down a bit. And thanks for letting me know that you have the sequel on ff.net. I'll check that out as soon as I finish this story. Ta! Author's Response: I love that you worry about Draco without trusting him. That is how I always felt about him in canon, too. Sort of: oh, no, what is going to HAPPEN to this kid when he realizes what crappy choices he's made? And I really wanted to convey that to the readers here. I hope your computer gets better soon! -K
This was such a fun chapter. Nicely filled with twists and turns along the way. Then it suddenly smacks up against the stone wall that is Narcissa Malfoy! *gulp* Well done! |
