Ooooh, you got the idea!

So many people didn't get what the 'secret' was at all, lol.  Which is really weird and interesting, because the DEs in Book 7 spread the propaganda that Muggles and Muggleborn witches 'steal' or 'drain' power from 'real' wizards... (that's a lot of single quotes, lol).  When I read that, I was full of the shock.  Because that's kind of true and kind of not, in this universe; and that's why it was kept a secret, too, because it's knowledge that can too easily be twisted to evil ends.  The more full explanation is that, when Muggles hang around wizards, they get a hint of magical ability, and being around Muggles makes a witch or wizard stronger.  Like sharing body heat, everyone benefits.  :)
