Reviews For the Secret of Slytherin
Harry couldn’t help it – he laughed, startled into amusement. “You said it was an antidote for most poisons – I haven’t forgotten, or anything.” ... It was Draught of the Living Death, not an antidote to most poisons, that was the bezoar, surely? Author's Response: Why yes, of course, and you're not the first... fifth... or tenth... person to mention it. When that many people catch a mistake, it's probably time to go back and re-load the chapter.... *sigh*
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. :) -Kirinin
Author's Response: Katachi, your English is really very good! Far better than a lot of those who speak English as their first language. I am honored that you read the story despite needing a dictionary - that's a truly high compliment. FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE STORY YET, SPOILERS FOLLOW! I thought that, overall, the prophesy was answered. The prophesy still refers directly to Harry, and the power that Voldemort Knew Not was, as Dumbledore always suspected, love. It was Harry's ability to find the good in others and his ability to show affection that saved his life and lost Voldemort's, no matter who held the wand in the end. I'm glad you liked the recs! I'm also glad you reviewed, it definitely did meet my expectations. ;) -K
I really liked the remus hitting severus scene it was perhaps my favorite. The whole story was good( I stayed up from about 7 in the evening until 10 the next morning cause I couldn't stop reading it.) =D haha. And I have another fic to rec to you, your last rec in your author's notes reminded me of it. Here is the link. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2490727/1/ It is called Tea and Sympathy By Jocemum. It's written after the sixith book, and is focuses a trust between Dumbledore's Portrait, Hermione, and Severus. I can't really say much more because I am horrible at describing things with out ruining it. -__-'' Author's Response: Thanks, Cassie! That's one of my favorite scenes of all time in the story, too. (I'm allowed to have my own favorites, right?) I am always impressed by those who read the story like marathon runners. *splashes water at Cassie as she runs past* Go! go! ;) I have read Tea and Sympathy; it's in my Favorites on ff-dot-net, which I highly recommend you check out. Find my C2 as well; that's where the best of the best are. My Favorites section is that which just didn't quite make it to my C2 but is still interesting or well done. I'm so glad you liked SoS, and I hope you'll join me as I post future fics! -Kirinin
Author's Response: I dont' think I've read that one Cassie; I'll check it out. It's always good to catch up with the slightly older fics; you're less likely to see them in C2s which means I'm less likely to find them. I'll let you know what I think, and I'm glad you're liking SoS so far. :) -K
Author's Response: Hey, nothing more! Snape gets to try out life as a (sort-of) regular wizard! I sort of *wanted* to make Voldemort's death an anticlimax; after all, this story had more or less nothing to do with him. Yes, I think that Draco and Harry are both heroes here! But Draco also handed Snape over to the Death Eaters to be tortured and then killed. These two acts sort of cancel one another out in Snape's books, but I would be wary of him if I were Snape... Thanks for sticking with this story. Last bit soon! -K
Author's Response: Darn! I thought I'd caught that. Thanks for reminding me; I'll see if I can't fix it. ;) -K
Author's Response: Darn! I probably never should have mentioned that whole fanfiction-dot-net thing, should I? Ah, well, se la vie (sp?). I'm glad you enjoyed the story and hope you will vote for it to be Featured! If you have a story here, that is. :) -K
Hmmmm that little prank you told about... it really was a good way to advertise that one fic, lol. Well, it worked! I've got to check out it... How come that particular prank gets some a long time ago read fic to my mind... I'll see then. Author's Response: Don't worry, Anonymous person! There will be more v. soon. The Prank War is a great fic, one I highly recommend (obviously)! The fact that the pranks escalate from the one I mentioned is hard to believe, but true. I hope you'll join me for the next installment; thanks for reading and reviewing. :) -K Author's Response: Wait a minute. There already IS more! Keep going! -K
Author's Response: You'll find out very soon. Mwa ha ha!!! -K |
