That's really good. Short but good. It shows that a road to hell is paved with good intentions (if I correctly remember English version ;-)). Yes, good intentions and good plans are not enough. You need to execute them if this have worked. I'm impressed.

Another perspective, but a beautiful one. I like Dumbledore, although he often is portrayed as a heartless man who acts as if Harry (and in some kind of way, Snape) is a means to an end. Yes, somehow, your Dumbledore does realize that he has to hurt them, that he cannot save and shield them because they are part of the war. But at least, he does try to make it as easy as possibly for Harry. At least he does feel bad for sending Snape into near certain death. And that's all that matters, isn't it? He cares.

Not in many fics I have ever felt pity for Dumbledore. But here I have. And that says a lot. I don't want to say that this is gorgeous or just wonderful - it's not that sort of fanfiction when the author waits for such rewiews. But still I must say that this story made me think more about Dumbledore, and even think better about him - and for that I thank you.

Hmm...it was nice and it showed a new side to those manipulating Dumbledore stories. It was a breather.
I am actually pretty intrigued by this idea. Dumbledore has touched on numerous of the AU fanfiction ideas that we would all love to see happen (and that can happen in fanfic) even though we know that Canon will not come out that way. I think it would be worth your while to work on this some more. The writing feels flat--Dumbledore doesn't come across exactly as himself for some reason. I think it could also be fleshed some. For example, why was it a problem that Dumbledore left Harry with the Dursleys? Fanfiction aside, it mainly resulted in him not trusting adults, which works nicely for Rowling's plot, but not for "Dumbledore's plan."
