Although I've kept up with this story, I've never been totally comfortable with it. It seemed that Snape was letting too much to continue without action. He just seems to be a highly reactive person. Now with chapter it seems that he may finally be taking some action. I think. I'm hoping to see a more in charge Snape emerging. Although, it will likely be difficult. He always seems to me to have a 'teenager' mentality. Perhaps as a result of his own insufficient upbringing his own maturity was delayed. I'd like to see him 'grow up' and become the adult of this group.
I hope I'm in tune with where you are going with this story and am not asking too much. I do love the way you write, from the point of view of a more flawed (and perhaps realistic) character than most.

This is well done. Very good. I would suggest you find a publisher for some original stuff, if you have any. A publisher may accept some of your stuff.
But remember that a publisher will not accept anything on its first application. They are only that generous to longtime authors (I have felt the barbed tongue of publishers before. What a nightmare for my manuscript to be returned over and over with a pitying letter of non-acceptance!)
