This is great. =3 It's making me cry...

Keep up the good work, yes? =3 =3 =3

    Author's Response:

Aw, thanks.  Is it weird that making people cry is sort of a good thing?

    Glad you liked it!

Aww! It's good that Harry's getting some real promises now from Severus. Hopefully Harry's able to control his accidental magic in the future and get his voice back. I can't wait to read what happens after he does. Good job with Severus, though. I really liked his characterization in this chapter, especially with him drawing from his own childhood for ideas as how to deal with Harry. Hopefully everything gets better for the both of them from now on. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: I think this is the crest of the hill, and things are bound to get better.  Relatively speaking, anyway.  Of course, there's still Harry's penchant for getting into trouble....

I like his foolish gesture. Love this human, frustrated Snape.

    Author's Response:

I'm so glad you were able to pick up on his frustration.  Because he *is* very frustrated.  He wants to help Harry, but can't help thinking that nothing he's doing is making any difference.  So in a fit of desperation, this was what he came up with.

    Thanks for your thoughts!

    * heaves a huge sigh of relief *
That was good idea! A promise made real...

Author's Response: Snape was at a bit of a loss, so it was the "realest" (urgh) thing he could think of under pressure.  And I think it spoke to Harry more than words could have.

Loved Snape banishing all the belts he owns. But what's going to happen to his pants, now? ;-)

Author's Response: Well, that's one of the benefits of being a wizard, no? :)

I believe I read this last night and forgot to review. Anyway, I loved this chapter. And I adore Snape for caring enough to actually destroy all of the belts he owns. Hopefully this is a big step for Harry. Will he speak again soon?

    Author's Response:

I'm not sure if "soon" would be the right word.  Harry's got his reasons for not talking, even if he doesn't understand what they are right now.  But he will talk again.  It's coming eventually!

    Thanks for the review!
