What a sweet gesture! That was wonderful of Snape. I loved the chapter and though I've been rooting for Harry to get his voice back, what you've done with the story makes a lot of sense and really adds to the story, letting us know how important his time with Snape has become to him. Very cool!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm very glad you liked it :)

Poor Harry! Why do I feel like I start almost every review I write with those two words? Well, this was definitely a two steps back kind of chapter, wasn't it? I think Severus handled things admirably, although I wonder how he will keep his pants up now.

Thanks for the update. Hope to hear from you again soon.

    Author's Response:

Yeah, I'm a bit evil.  Everytime Harry starts to feel a little comfortable and secure I go and mess with him.  But this was a necessary point, because Harry doesn't want to talk yet.  He just freaked out when he heard he'd done accidental magic.

Two steps back, one step forward!

What a gesture!! How is he going to hold up his pants? Is he going to seek custody of Harry so he can protect him all year? We already know Dumbledore will not.

    Author's Response:

I worry I'm making Dumbledore out to be vicious, and he's not.  Just midguided sometimes.  Severus isn't too worried about holding his pants up.  He's more worried about Harry.

    Thanks for the review!

yeah an update, that was a defintely big chapter for Harry and Severus. Hopefully Harry will start to understand that he is safe and can continue to trust Severus when he gets over his emotional rollercoaster. Severus banshing all of his belts, was a little extreme but I think absolutely necessary. Really curious to see whats going to happen to Harry's voice. Keep up the awesome work, and please update again soon. LES

    Author's Response:

I think Harry gets that he's safe to a point, but then accidental magic happened and he's right back to feeling like Uncle Vernon's going to be mad :(  So he projects that onto Snape.

    Thanks for the review!

A short chapter, but good none the less. I feel so bad for Harry and love Severus more with each new chapter. Please keep up the excellent work and update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'll do my best to update soon.

Aw, I wanted to cry when Harry thought Severus was going to beat him. That was really heartbreaking, and those Dursleys---well, nothing is too bad for them!

It's obvious how much Severus has come to care for Harry and I only hope that banishing all his belts was enough to reassure Harry.

It's interesting that Harry cast a Silencing Charm on himself, it explains why he's gone so long without speaking. Totally understandable, too. Not being able to speak got him something he'd never had before--an adult who loved him. It's just sad that Harry fears losing it all if he gets well.

I hope you'll update again soon. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Harry was doing all right until he realized he had done accidental magic.  Poor thing.  And yes, Harry certainly has his reasons for keeping silent, which will be expanded upon in a future chapter.
