What?! You can't stop there...This story is simply amazing, and though I just found it and so hadn't read it in time to nominate/vote it for a featured story, it certainly deserves the distinction. I can't wait for the next chapter! Please update soon!! I love your characterizations of both Harry and Severus, and how their relationship progresses; it's all very believable, although I do wish you'd given us some insight into Snape's thoughts during Harry's first Quidditch match...By the way, I did happen to notice the plot hole in the Christmas chapter, and I'm so glad you cleared it up in the next chapter. I had been wondering what Harry's reaction would be when he truly realized what had been written. I expect Dumbledore will have a bit of trouble getting to Harry. I mean, you haven't really said how their relationship has progressed, so I'm left to assume that Harry still doesn't really trust Dumbledore...? Oh, and I thought I would mention: in the middle of chapter 20, starting with "They both know it is not a suggestion" when Snape sends Harry to bed, your writing suddenly changed to present tense narration, and then went back to past tense with the next section. Since it happened apparently randomly, midchapter, I assume you don't realized you did it, so I thought I'd point it out. (sorry this rambled so much!). Anyway, keep up the wonderful writing, and update soon!
Author's Response: Yeah, it was a bit of a mean place to stop. But the next chapter's up now! I'm glad you found the story and have enjoyed it. I wouldn't say that Harry doesn't trust Dumbledore, I think he does, but at this point pretty much anyone would have trouble getting through to him. (Thanks for pointing out the tense issue. I am aware of it, but obviously wasn't at the time. That's what happens when you take days to write chapters. Things get mucked up.)

AWWW!! That was awesome. I love that Harry let 'Daddy' slip. The timing was wonderful. I could so picture the whole scene in the hospital wing with Harry wanting to get to Severus and the adults not letting him. I can hardly wait to find out the full extent of Snape's reaction/response.
Thank you for updating. I know I missed reviewing the last chapter, not at all sure how that happened, but I do know I enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed the rest of your story. Congratulations on gaining Feature status. It was well earned.

Teehee! Poor Severus...but this was an amazing chapter and I'm glad that he's ok! Harry on the other hand...and will we learn more about what happened down there with the stone next chapter? I can't wait for all these confrontations about feelings and parents! Yea!
I loved reading how anxious Harry was while made to wait for Severus to return. It is a good thing that he couldn't wait the whole three hours and that McGonagall listened. I guess not talking to someone for almost an entire school term really helps to get their attention when you do actually talk to them
Oh, also really glad that Ron and Hermione didn't freak out about Severus being Harry's dad. *sigh* Friends.
I too liked the "Apparently what parents do is die!” line and Severus' clever rejonder...oh that Slytherin. And Harry's "Daddy" comment...that poor boy, he must be horrified. And Poppy's great! I just love her.
And again that last line...but I can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens! I really hope that your muses help you to find a plot, because you're really good at writing and I'd throughly enjoy a sequel...get goin' muses!! Have a good week and good luck with the next chapter!
Author's Response: I'm still trying to figure out if we'll discuss what happened with the stone in the next chapter, the epilogue (if there is one) or if it'll be in the beginning of the next story. Oh well, it will work itself in there somehow! One can't help but understand Harry thinking that 'what parents do is die', it's a pretty sad thing to believe. That's why he was so relieved and why he said "Daddy" without thinking. He's pretty horrified with himself, and refuses to cooperate with the muses for the moment, but he'll come around ;)
