Reviews For Reading the Signs
Author's Response: Well, if you haven't read it elsewhere you now can find out, because Chapter 25 is up. Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: No worries, I'm grateful you reviewed at all! The next chapter is up.
I loved reading how anxious Harry was while made to wait for Severus to return. It is a good thing that he couldn't wait the whole three hours and that McGonagall listened. I guess not talking to someone for almost an entire school term really helps to get their attention when you do actually talk to them Oh, also really glad that Ron and Hermione didn't freak out about Severus being Harry's dad. *sigh* Friends. I too liked the "Apparently what parents do is die!” line and Severus' clever rejonder...oh that Slytherin. And Harry's "Daddy" comment...that poor boy, he must be horrified. And Poppy's great! I just love her. And again that last line...but I can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens! I really hope that your muses help you to find a plot, because you're really good at writing and I'd throughly enjoy a sequel...get goin' muses!! Have a good week and good luck with the next chapter! Author's Response: I'm still trying to figure out if we'll discuss what happened with the stone in the next chapter, the epilogue (if there is one) or if it'll be in the beginning of the next story. Oh well, it will work itself in there somehow! One can't help but understand Harry thinking that 'what parents do is die', it's a pretty sad thing to believe. That's why he was so relieved and why he said "Daddy" without thinking. He's pretty horrified with himself, and refuses to cooperate with the muses for the moment, but he'll come around ;)
I'm eager to find out what happened in the chamber, and what will happen next in Harry and Severus' relationship. Author's Response: It's powerful for me too, it's actually hard not to waste the day writing about these two! We certainly will find out what happened to Severus, but we have to deal with his relationship with Harry first.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked that part, I was pretty unsure about it, to tell the truth.
Author's Response: Heh, Snape even wakes up snarking, it's his default setting. Yeah, the other bits were meant to be sniffly though ;)
Author's Response: Thank *you* for reading and reviewing, I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you the story. Author's Response: You're welcome! We'll find out what happened to Severus soon. I'm working on it :)
I LOVE the fact that Harry called Snape Daddy, and the whole ending bit. I also like the child psychology thing. I'm very interested in that subject, so, yeah, kudos to you! :) I can't wait for teh next update! Are we in for a heartfelt Snape talk anytime soon? I do hope so! And poor Harry, I must say. He must be mortified. Okay, gtg! LOVE IT! -Elise Author's Response: Yeah, Harry's pretty horrified with himself. In fact, I found writing the bit where he calls Snape Daddy pretty difficult. I went back and erased it and reinserted it, and erased it, and re-re-inserted it. Even though it's completely understandable that he did so, it totally made me blush in embarrassment for him. But there was just no way around it. Especially for me, because I know all the other times he was *thinking* it but never admitted it. They weren't directly in the text, but they were there. Thanks for the review!
The cracks started when he said "what parents do is die." (Oh, Harry, come out, come out wherever you are...you need a hug). How can you not love Poppy? The look and retort she gave Severus was priceless. I really need that next chapter soon so I know Harry's okay. Please? Author's Response: I know, poor Harry. He just couldn't help himself. I'll do my best to let you know how Harry's doing asap :) |
