I love how this chapter ends. I love that making sure Harry has food is a present. I love the way they are growing together. I love the bracelets (later). I really hope you continue this, all the way through Hogwarts and defeating V. I want to see this Harry grow up, and make friends, and change the world, all with the support of his father.
I also had a chance to read the accompanying stories... Lovely. Was glad to see the bit with Sirius.
Please write more!
Loving how Snape is going all Slytherin in how he protects Harry. Allies. Snape is going to surround Harry with so much love, even though Snape would rather keep him all to himself. Because he can't help but do what is best for Harry.
I am really enjoying this. Severus is very much in character, and yet Harry is slowly pulling out the best person Severus can be. And little Harry, so afraid of abandonment, yet strong and full of love too, is endearing.
You write well, the scenes are well crafted, and your skill with language is quite good. One correction: effect is a noun, meaning the result of an action, and you have used it frequently in place of affect, the verb which means to cause an effect.
Overall, this is one of the best young Harry stories I have read.

what a wonderful story, I really enjoyed reading this.
Oh, I loved this story!!! I love how you have the relationship growing between the two. I can't wait ot see hwat happens next.

I just wanted to say that Mine/Snape's Vocation is my favorite Harry Potter gen story. I first read it over a year ago and I've reread it many times since. All of the characterizations are extremely well done. They still seem like themselves despite the different circumstances (I liked Lupin in particular). There's such a feeling of magic throughout, and I liked all the little wizard world details, such as the family outing to the dragons. I think this really captured the spirit of the first book.

This was a truly lovely story. You show great depths in your writing. Your characters are so three dimensional that they are real. I hope to read many more stories from you in the future.

"Harry Potter! If you don't hold still I will turn this broomstick right around!"
Have to say, this line made me laugh till I cried. There ertainly is no difference between "muggles" and "wizards" when it comes to traveling with children.
