Reviews For A Time and Place to Learn
Great chapter! ^^
I really look forward to the next chapter of this hon! Tracy
I loved this line: "Then I'll have to leave out whole weeks all together", it had me burst out laughing. Poor Harry, he's not being very clever is he? I thought your last few sentences were fantastic... wouldn't want to be in Harry's shoes though!!!
Great chapter by the way!! :)
It's really exciting. I can imagine what Severus's face look like. Thanks for writing this lovely story and please update soon :)
Harry's reaction to Draco was pretty much what I expected. I'm glad they didn't get into a full-blown fight. I don't think Snape can handle that right now and both of them really need to grow up anyway. I liked how you didn't have Snape come after Harry right away. He understands that sometimes Harry needs space before he can work things out and going after him when he's in that kind of a mood would only make things worse. The talk with Dumbledore was pretty good. I like how you didn't forget about him because that happens in some fics with Snape and Harry. I don't think Dumbledore's character was entirely believable to me, but he's so difficult to write. It wasn't perfect, but you did a good job. And I liked the advice he gave Harry. Although I don't know about Harry calling Snape anything other than 'Professor' 'Sir' or 'Snape'. Anything else seems kind of weird. But you could probably pull it off. And of course Snape had to catch up with Harry sometime. He handled it well, once again. I think Snape is learning how to get through to Harry. Yelling and insults and threats sometimes are necessary, but sometimes it takes something else. It's good he actually explained why he had Draco follow Harry around. He also sort of admitted that maybe everything that's happened to Harry hasn't always been his fault. I'd really like to see Snape realize that Harry isn't the arrogant attention seeker he thinks he is. Harry definitely should have told Snape about Madam Moretta, but I can kind of understand why he didn't. It wasn't a friend or a student or anyone else; it was his teacher telling him to keep it a secret. Snape has to understand that much. Although Harry did still lie to him, and about something that could affect his safety. Snape is going to be mad. Maybe more angry than we've seen so far. After what he said about doing anything he could to protect Harry, and then this happening...this is not good. I don't know what he's going to do to Harry. I actually feel worse for him than I do for Harry. He's going to have such a hard time dealing with this. You can't keep leaving us with these evil cliff hangers! They're killing us. ;-) Thanks for updating even though you're busy. I look forward to the next chapter, no matter how long it takes. Good luck with grad school and teaching! |
