Reviews For A Time and Place to Learn
Loved the chapter, as usual. The dragon scenes were brilliantly written. I could completely see it playing out in my head as I read it. Great descriptions. I knew that Snape wasn't going to be very happy with Harry for how he handled it. Harry has to go all Cowboy and do it his way when Snape is trying to teach him other ways. Typical, huh? Still not sure what I think about Moretta. Harry obviously dislikes her, and I'm not sure that Snape likes her either. But, Snape seems to trust her. I wonder why? Thanks again for the update. Hope RL is nice to you. Take care.
i love your Harry and Snape dynamic it is truely unmatched by anything I have ever read, I'm surprised Snape didn't punish Harry...care to explain? The end of that story made me ready to go to bed, yaaawn. ;) Great Chapter your updates take too long btw lots of love Kella
What has Snape got planned now?????????? Update soon please!
Only Snape could take a potential heart warming moment like hugging Harry after spanking him and make it an order with further spanking if the order wasn’t followed. Thankfully Harry had the perfect comeback. If the two of them aren’t careful they will continue to show signs that they are becoming a true family. I must admit that I didn’t understand the part about the importance of Snape’s wish that the war was over and the adoption wouldn’t have to be a secret any more. Are you giving hints about events later in the story? Finally, I know Snape wouldn’t be Snape if he wasn’t pushing Harry to do his best in learning to fight and win against Voldemort but 3 dragons?
I thought the way you wrote about Harry’s soul searching was very realistic. Harry’s guilt about lying to Snape and not resolving the conflict between them made him grumpy to his friends, angry at Snape and even short tempered with himself. I think that for once Harry’s eavesdropping on the conversation between Snape and McGonagall was a good thing. I’m not sure Harry would have understood Snape’s feelings about their quarrel as well if he hadn’t heard their talk. I loved the comment when McGonagall told Snape to “Go deal with Harry or she would deal with him”. McGonagall sure pulled no punches with Snape in that talk! Snape and Harry dealt with some very important issues that were still coming between them. I liked that Harry still stood up to Snape about mistakes made by both of them past and present while apologizing for lying and Snape admitted that they both were still learning to be father and son. The best part for me was that finally Harry told Snape –his Dad- that he loved him! |
