Woah! Genius comes to mind when I read your story. :D. This is great! I cannot wait to read more. . .You did a really wonderful job of translating the magical world of Hogwarts into this OTHER place. Love it!

you've got a great start, thanks for sharing
This is very interesting so far. A little rushed, but an interesting concept. I like the idea of poetry playing an intricate roll as the story pans out. I also like the AU aspect - how Snape is a literary teacher... AH. I just got the connection. Lit teacher, poetry... :D
I like this. As a lit student, I recognized the poem immediately, and I could so see my professors as Snape - "DO NOT plaguerize!" I look forward to reading the next chapter.
Starting the chapter where you did, in media res, of in the middle of things for all you non-Latin scholars, I thought was an interesting style of writing. Most writers would have shown the suicide attempt, milking it for all its angst and despair, but it happens off-screen, so to speak. So I'll just keep reading.
