This was brilliant. I mean both stories in this series. They were excellent, they excited me, made me laugh out loud and cry in despair.
Two great stories that could have worked in canon. Everything was clearly logical and I enjoyed Harry's way to kill Voldemort very much. It was realistic, to say the least.
Well, I am bad in giving review on stories I truly enjoyed. I can hardly describe the rollercoaster of emotions I felt while reading. But I hope I did get my point across.

Author's Response: I think you give lovely reviews!  I'm very glad you enjoyed the stories so much. Thank you for letting me know. :)

I am SO impressed with this story! The storyboard is incredible, and you left nothing to chance, everything was just terribly efficient! This is really one of the best written stories I read in this categorie, thanks a lot!

Author's Response: Thank you so much.  I'm very glad you enjoyed it and I truly appreciate your thoughtful comments.

Thank you a thousand times. This is a brilliant story. The best part, for me, was your timing: every time Harry suddenly remembers something, I, too, remember it, and find that I have thoroughly forgotten about it! This is fantastic, it makes the characters so convincing! I am in a bad habit of agonizing over answers that I remember and the characters forgot, and this story is like a paradise to me. Besides, I, too, didn't trust Ryan, but aknowledge my mistake. I, too, suspected Snape of murders (although in Harry's shoes I wouldn't be worried for the victims, only for Snape's soul, but I'm a sociopath 8)) ). I even almost didn't suspect Knight! And I had no idea about Kreacher! But in the end it all adds up so neatly that I couldn't find a fauld if I tried. Thank you once again, this was worth every minute of the sleepless nights I devoted to it 8)))

Author's Response: Thank you for this wonderful review.  I'm so glad the characters are convincing.  I, too, hate it when I read a story and the characters have overlooked something that I find obvious, so I'm happy to have avoided that here.  Thank you so much for reading.  I'm glad the sleepless nights were worth it.  :)

That was magnificent. Never before have I read a fanfiction on this site in which the characters retained their identities from the novel so accurately- Severus Snape in particular. The plot itself was creative genius, actually more enjoyable in some regards than the last two Harry Potter novels. The ending tied up every loose end beautifully, giving a sense of satisfaction JKR failed to deliver to any Snape follower. Thank you.

Author's Response: Wow!  'Creative genius' is quite a compliment.  I'm glad I was able to tie up so many loose ends and give you a sense of satisfaction.  Thank you for reading.

Awesome series! The characters, especially Harry and Snape were definitely true to their character; and there was just the right amount of suspense and tugging of heartstrings and everything else that makes a good story in this two part series. I haven't enjoyed a story as much as this one in quite some time. I'm sure it took a lot of planning and hard work to write this - Thank you!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review!  Yes, the stories took quite a bit of work - 18 and 19 months respectively to write - but it was definitely a labor of love.  I'm glad you enjoyed them. :)

Wow. I can't believe I've never read your fics before. These are FANTASTIC. Seriously. I hope you write your own original fiction or something, because you have great ability. Your' characterization was among the best I've ever read, and it was refreshing to see Harry and Snape's relationship done so very well. The average fic makes them father and son within the first few chapters and ignores all the HISTORY, as if it never mattered. So I applaud your fic. It was a fantastic read!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm so glad you enjoyed the stories. :)

Wow, the very best alternative ending I've ever read! It's even more logical than JKR's, with more creative ideas, and -what the most important- with a fitting end. (Although I don't like Epilogues in general-looking forward in time... it's just scary for me, and makes me feel depressed, but yours at least happy.)I think JKR made a terrible mistake, she should never have killed Snape, especially after the sad life she created for him. So, million thanks for these novels, and congratulation! Keep writing, you're extremely talented! :)
(oh, and sorry for my poor english...)

Author's Response: Thank you.  I appreciate the review.

A wonderful story! I read both stories over the weekend and today and loved them! It was just as good as readings the books for the first time! (With the bonus of Snape living, and of course Harry's and his understanding).

Author's Response: Glad you liked it.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Wow, that was a great deal more logical than Rowling's resolution of the series. I inifinitely prefer the 'immortality via the Dark Mark' than those arbitrary Horcruxes. You worked with what she had in place by book 5 and pushed it all to the limit, rather than throwing in all sorts of new ideas to the detriment of the narrative and emotional resolution of each character's arc. Great ending for Snape - the ultimate DADA position (wot, no Shipping him with a salvaged Katrina Knight?) Says more about the power of love and friendship than 'Deathly Hallows' did.

    Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the great review.  Yes, Snape got the ultimate DADA position which I think is the greatest gift I could give him as well as the Aurors.  There really is no one better qualified to teach them.  As for Snape and Knight, I leave all ships to others' imaginations.

I was very disappointed that JKR left so many loose ends hanging in DH.  I do think the plot and character arcs suffered for having so much new material added at the eleventh hour, instead of drawing together all the previous plot threads and tying them up.  I'm glad that you felt this story did a good job of pulling it all together and I'm very happy that you think Chained Souls did a better job of portraying the power of love and friendship.

Absolutely brilliant! One of the best HP fanfic stories I have ever read. Your writing is wonderful and you did so well by all these characters. What a fantastic legacy for Harry & Severus!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.  :)
