PLEASE tell me you didn't really leave us there! The whole build-up, as well as the last scene, was absolutely heart-wrenching. You've managed to develop a very unique idea, and executed it beautifully. It's been a long time since I've found myself so emotionally invested in a character's fate.

It's such a horrifying paradox - Harry can't help but lose! Poor guy. Snape's reactions are spot-on - resigned, determined, but just a flash of regret at the end. I loved his question to Harry, "“Potter, do you honestly believe that there is anything you need to say to me that I don’t already know?”
So very Snape-like, and yet bitterly sweet.

I'm very impressed with this story in general, and this chapter in particular.

Wow. loved this chapter. Your writing is so awesome. I love the constant twist without ever leaing the clear path of the overall story. Harry and Snapes interaction is so natural and changes slow enough to be believable.

I hope the lamppost will get a larger role in the future. It supported the main figure quite well and hopefully shed a little on Harrys difficult path.

I am very excited to finally see whats inside Voldemorts mind and I hope you keep up the great and frequent updates.

Thank you very much for it is a wonderful story

Fantastic! Utterly fantastic! How can you only have twenty some reviews for this story? I'm appalled by that fact. I have just spent over 30 almost consecutive hours reading both The Enemy Within, and all of the chapters of Harry Potter and the Chained Souls to date.

I honestly have no idea where to begin. Your writing, for one is phenomenal. The language style that you use is wonderful. Your ability to produce plots and foreshadowing is none like I have ever seen in fanfiction. You completely nailed down both the characters mannerisms and personas to almost an exact art.

Snape was completely perfect. I love the fact that unlike other stories, Snape did not change his attitude in a matter of chapters, or due to some eventful occurence. In Enemy Within even despite the fact that he was no a spy, he did not have a miraculous change into a cheery, happy person. I greatly respected that fact, along with your insight into his character.

Your writing style at times left me breathless, or with my pulse racing. I have never read a story that was so clever as yours. I feel almost guilty for not going back and reviewing every single chapter, but my anticipation for what was to come caused me to rush on before I could review. I really really hope that there is another sequel that will be in the works at the finish of this story.
Thank you thank you thank you for making the past two days of my life filled with enjoyable reading. You have an honest to God gift. I won't even compare you to J.K Rowling, because in some instances I feel that your writing is better than her own. Amazing job, and I wish that I had time to say more. However, I have to go to work in a couple of hours, and I haven't slept yet.

I can't wait to see what is coming next. I have no doubt that it will be just as terrific as all of your previous chapters. I do hope that you will update soon! Thank you!
