Reviews For O Mine Enemy
Author's Response: He really could have done well in Slytherin, huh? ;)
Your way is better. Lol :) I am rereading the whole story. I have read it on fanfiction net and here but I like reading it here better because I can make the text bigger. I really like the scene were Harry is eating those canned peaches, Sluurrp! Lol Scorpia Author's Response: Yum...I'm getting a craving right now for canned peaches myself! LOL!
"The sun was hot, but the cool breeze more than made up for it. Harry was flat on his back on the green grass, basking in that glorious breeze, and in that moment he couldn’t bring himself to care how mad Aunt Petunia would be over how few weeds he’d managed to pull this morning." Has anyone ever told you how perfect that paragraph is? It's like ... awesome XD I love love LOVE Harry's reaction to Snape. A lot of times I read how Snape is injured and Harry immediately steps up to clean the wounds ... but DUDE, if I had a half-dead man on my floor, I would NOT be touching him straigh away. I'd be like ... erm, NO. My hands are clean (and you are not). So thank you for finally writing a realistic reaction to a gross, injured man XD Snapey Snapey Snapey - you're very passive aggressive aren't you? You know, I think we need to work on your communication skills. That, and personal hygene XD Author's Response: This is so fun - like hearing your reactions as you're reviewing! :) And yes, that would be my reaction, too - blood, dirt, grease, eww! You want me to touch WHAT? I'm glad we can both relate to Harry's dilema. ;)
Author's Response: Yeah, I sure hope they both make it out in one piece. I'm glad Snape has you to feel sympathy for him, with Harry not on his side. It probably did hurt, especially considering he's still recovering from other injuries...
Author's Response: Please do!!! :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the 'awesome' - Words like that put a smile on my face. :)
The actual writing of this story flows well, and I noticed no errors. That is a wonderful gift to this terribly picky reader. I should also note since you are a new writer that I am a fairly hard grader--a story has to be really exceptional to get more than an eight from me and I'm more than willing to give less! :-) Author's Response: Thank you sooo much for the nice review. I hope you like the rest of the story... And I will have to make it my personal mission in life to get more than an eight from you. :) This is going to be fun...
Author's Response: Yes, they're both quite a piece of work, aren't they? But Harry's pretty smart...if he can get past Voldemort more than a couple times, I think he's up to the challenge these annoying muggles present, don't you? But if you're not so sure, keep reading and find out!
Author's Response: Thank you for the reviews, Jan AQ! I appreciate hearing what you think about the story. :) |
