Reviews For O Mine Enemy

Author's Response: Thank you!
LOL. Snapey - 10 points for being a snarky git, and also for helping Harry while in the throes of a dream (wow, that is a really bad choice of words XD) Harry - I feel a little bit bad for you, seeing as in the not-so-distant future you'll probably be locked up in a basement being drained of all your vital fluids and all that. Then again, my sympathy is tempered by the fact that I just know that, in some way, shape or form Snapey will come to your rescue, so really, it all works out XD (lol, a fangirl can always dream XD) Author's Response: Will he? And will he? Hmm...we'll see soon, won't we? :) ;)
First off...amazing dream sequence! Honestly... I was so caught up in the story that I didn't even bother to answer my cell phone when it rang. I don't ever not answer my phone, so consider that as a major compliment to your talented writing skills. I wonder when Harry will talk to Dumbledore about the second prophecy. Hmm...the plot thickens... Snape is amazing in this chapter as usual. Honestly, I am amazed by his wonderful skills in sarcasm. Perhaps he took a class Sarcasm 101: How to be snarky and sarcastic to everyone you meet (especially with those who annoy you)or perhaps Creative Insulting. Ha ha. Well I'm off to read the next chapter! Author's Response: hehe, I SO relate to the work vs. college thing! I work fulltime (plus a part-time job, plus an internet class), and I really, really miss college. I want to rewind...because the great thing about college is that even though you're busy, your time is your own - YOU get to decide whether to study now or later...or even to not study at all! *sigh* Can I come with you? I especially want to take that Sarcasm 101 class - it sounds like fun!! Oh, please make your apologies to whomever was calling you. (But I'm really not sorry - it thrills me that you were that into the story.) And keep reading...the plot shall continue to thicken... :)
wonderful chapter. Update again soon! Author's Response: I accept your chocolate...yum! Thanks for the review! Stay tuned. Coming up: lots of Snape & Harry interaction! :)
It's nice to see Snape beginning to mellow a little and how he has compassion for Harry although he can't bring himself to show it (except when Harry's pretty much out of it). I can't wait for them to grow closer but I know that it can't be rushed. There's a long history of mutual animosity between them and it's not easy to let that go. Still, they're taking small steps towards a better relationship, and that's great for both of them. I think they could really be a strength and comfort to one another, once they learn to get along. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: A new reader! I love those! :) Thank you for reading it all the way through. Good insight!
Author's Response: Yay! I hadn't realized your story had been updated! I read it at the beginning, but I haven't gotten alerts...hmm, I'll have to check my favorites. I could've sworn it was there... Anyway, I'll have to go catch up on your story when I get home (and yes, leave reviews, because I know how fun it is to get them). Thanks for liking my story! Yes, that Snape - when will he ever just get in touch with his touchy-feely side?!
Author's Response: I appreciate your POV on the progressing relationship, because I know it's not going fast at all. The way I see it, one week is not enough to get past 5 years of mutual hatred without pulling a fast one on readers. And you readers are way too smart for that. Sometimes I worry people might get impatient, but here's the deal...if you just stick with me, I'll get there. ;) Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Softie Snape...aw! Like a big fluffy teddy bear? Hehe! He might balk at that description... Thanks for the review!
I like this Snape. He isn't heartless, but he's still a harsh person. You write him very well; too many writers can't get his voice right, but you do. I also enjoy how I can feel what Harry's life is like. Like, how claustrophobic Grimmauld Place is, which made the visit from Ron and Hermione so wonderful (to the point where I as the reader was delighted by it too!) Anyway, well done. You're writing a very absorbing story, and I like how it looks to be a Snape mentoring Harry story; they can make a pretty formidable team if they want (only they don't know it yet!) Author's Response: Thank you for the review, Ellie K. I'm glad the dream sequence made sense...whew! :) And I can't tell you what it means to hear that you like my version of Snape. And the visit from Harry's friends. Please keep reviewing - I really want to know what you think as the story continues to develop! |
