Reviews For O Mine Enemy
Author's Response: Thank you! It's been fun to slowly thaw their relationship. :)
See, even Harry has picked up on your distressing lack of social skills, Snapey, and we all know he's not very subtle (yeah, I know, I'm not being very generous and I know that Harry picks up on a lot of small details, but he's always been rather stupid when it comes to Snape so yeah XD) Plus more 20-questions with Snape! I luff. (and apparently I have forgotten everything I learned about grammar and spelling at school. Ah well XD) Here is some chocolate (with caramel if you so desire) and some chai tea. Because chai is yummy XD (and it is also what I've been snorting into whilst reading this entire chapter XD) Author's Response: I love writing the Q&A's, so it thrills me that ya'll seem to like reading it! YAY! And let me tell you this...I LOVE CHAI TEA!!!!! I had to make a special trip to get some after I initially read this review, because you just started up the craving. YOU are AWESOME!!!
First of all, I just wanted to thank you for giving us readers something so nice to read! I especially love how you've kept Snape and Harry in character (and the Q&A amuses me to no end) - bravo!!! *thumbs up* Anyway, I look forward to your next chapter - please update soon! Author's Response: Wow, a whole day? Aw, I'm flattered - thank you!
Can't wait for when Dumbledore arrives! I love how the Occlumency book is so boring that Harry is rereading the same paragraph over and over again, that is how I sometimes feel about my homework.. Author's Response: hehe, it'll be alright! I promise! I try to give occasional breaks from cliffies, but sometimes I do get in the mood... ;) Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I'm so glad you're enjoying the story!
I also adored the little quip about Snape being a Master of most things - except interpersonal relationships! LOL Author's Response: Hi again! :) Thank you for your kind comments. I like the Q&A game, too - it's a lot of fun to write, and I think at this point there's no way in H-E-double-broomsticks that they would confide these things to each other unless they were each getting something out of the deal.
Um, is there a cure or treatment for ADHD in the wizarding world, that would allow Harry to focus, and learn - because it is clear that he is intelligent, simply distracted and impulsive. Author's Response: Are you a teacher? :) Most of my family are teachers, and my roommate is actually a special education teacher - she works with quite a few kids with learning and attention disorders. It was just funny to hear you refer to terms she uses all the time. ;) I hadn't thought of Harry as having ADHD specifically, though it's an interesting idea. In his case I was thinking more along the lines that he has a hard time focusing on things that he doesn't see as important...like Potions and Occlumency. He quite simply doesn't care about those subjects, and I think trying to focus on a huge jargon-filled book about a subject you don't care about would make anyone a little antsy. (Especially with everything else on his mind.) Hermione, on the other hand, I'm sure would be thrilled! :) As for a treatment...well, I'm not going the ADHD route specifically, but I'm sure a task-oriented mentor would be able to figure out a few things to help. Hmm...where could we find such a person, I wonder? ;) Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! And welcome back from vacation! |
