I need more of this gripping , fun intelligent portrayal of Potter/Snape
hesitant bonding and friendship,trust, all of it..
Please Tell us, If you have abandoned it, or... so we may'give up hope, all who enter' (Divina Commedia by Dante) in reading.

Okay, so I've read and reread chapters from this story numerous times, and (even though I love them all) your portrayal of Harry in this one is honestly wonderful, from his excitement over codes to his opinions on trust. Not to mention it's far more nuanced than the Harry that JKR sometimes gives us. By that I don't mean that your Harry isn't canon--he definitely is. I just mean that imo you manage to portray aspects of Harry's character that JKR seems to have forgotten about near the end of the series. I mean, in the first few books Harry is already very grave and righteous for a boy, but at the same time he's curious, adventurous, and has quite a clever mouth. And what I love here is the way you draw out all of those qualities, instead of focusing solely on Harry-the-righteous-soldier, as is often done in canon.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is you've got a very layered (and sympathetic) character here; and the same goes for Snape. Which is why I really really hope you find the time/chance to continue this story! :)

No! You can't leave it there, are you mad?! That scene was the perfect amount of excietment, anxiety, emotional-ness, and funny-ness all mixed together, that it's pure torture to not have more! I love you're ideas for this chapter, if they do indeed all come from you're head or come from something of Rowling's remains to be seen, but I loved it anyway. Please, please, please update soon! *Puppy-dog-eyes* I love this story, it's very interesting and entertaining to read. ^_^ Update please.

Wow. That's really what comes to mind first. The thing that stands out the most to me is your grasp of emotions. You seem to be able to write them so well. Not just writing about them but describing everything (facial expression, body language, eyes, etc) so that the reader really understands the emotions that the characters are feeling. You really let us see into the characters' minds and that is the most important aspect of writing I think. You have it down pat so, kudos! Your plot is wonderful. I really like the whole 'Harry as a seer' thing, that is so cool! Basically, I love this story, you rock! Thanx for the awesome read, please update soon!

Oooh, poor Harry, I really hope he doesn't end up seeing Mrs Figg's unfortunate demise ... as if he hasn't seen enough horrible things already!
Gaarrgh, Snape, you could try being a little more sympathetic to Harry, couldn't you?! *sigh* But anyway, I can't WAIT to see Harry and Snape's Occlumency session in the next chapter (OMG will there be singing???) - talk about a cliffhanger!!! But yes, such an action-packed and exciting chapter this was! So many things were happening! I can only ask that you update again soon and not keep me on the edge of my seat for so long! Thank you for yet another brilliant chapter!
Author's Response: As I answered to someone else...it was either Mrs. Figg or Lupin. Are you as sad now? But don't worry, Lupin's staying put, and he'll re-enter the picture in a few chapters or so. Not if Snape has anything to say about it. I can't tell you how many comments I've received on the possibility of Snape singing! hehe! Of course, about half of them want him to sing, and the other half beg me not to let him...

OH MY GOD MRS FIGG WHO IS GOING TO FEED MR TIBBLES NOW???
Now that is a clever way to force Snape and Harry into a kind of reluctant intimacy. Although I imagine eventually Snape will cotton onto the fact that Harry probably isn't trusting him so much as he's martrying himself by forcing himself to make personal confessions to someone he has no reason to believe will be other than unsympathetic. And then he'll get snarky again.
I was watching Grey's Anatomy season 2 on DVD there's a scene where one character points to another and says "I want you to sit down and try to pretend that you aren't scary and damaged."
I'd like to do the same to your Snape, assuming I could do it from minimum safe distance.
Anyway, awesome update.

(If that doesn't seem quite fair to you, I'll spot for coffee in the airport.) I don't think Snape's in danger of losing his snarkyness, no matter how much Harry does or does not rub off on him... :) hehe, I like that image. But yes, say it from a safe distance, please.
