Thank you a lovely healing chapter between the two of them
I've been horrible about reviewing your story, but I want you to know how much I love it. I almost cried when I saw the update. I had a super s****y day, and getting to read a chapter of one of the best fics I've ever read made me feel so much better. Thank you for that. I cannot say enough about the excellent job you do with your characterizations. The slow building up of Harry and Snape's relationship is believable, which is an aspect often lacking in these types of stories. I feel like we haven't seen the end of Harry's potion addiction, but I'm not sure what route that will take (relape, headaches increasing in intensity, etc.) I think it's interesting how Harry's nightmare at the end was interspersed with good images. It makes me hopeful that perhaps help for his naightmares will come in the form of some type of therapy, since it's clear how much the positive interaction with Snape helped him. Thank you for another great chapter!

I can't describe how pleasant it is to wake up in the morning and find a new chapter waiting for you... I'm proud of Harry's restraint re: adder's fork, but really sad and worried that his fear of rejection by Snape will cause trouble. Will Snape be even able to recognize it?
The gift - maybe new glasses?
I wonder if Snape would reconsider his stance on potions, knowing that Harry's many mistakes likely happened because he didn't see the instructions correctly?

I was wondering, though... your story reminds me a bit of another one that I remember loving, but can't remember the name of. I was hoping you'd read it. The Snape character in that one ends up getting tortured with his mark, and Harry ends up syphoning magic from the Dark Lord in order to try and save him and get really powerful in the process. Does that happen to ring a bell, for you? I really want to find that one again!
Anyway, this is one of my favorite-ever Snape and Harry fics. Keep it coming!!

Hi, wonderful that you're back from holiday [I know I've been a bad reviewer lately, but I've been reading].
So, I'm very disappointed with the adults in the story, especially Dumbledore, McGonagall and Pomfrey who failed completely. Snape, well, I would rant at him a lot more than Harry did. Addiction ugh the poor kid! I'm imagining an awful time ahead for Harry.
