Great chapter. Snape's understanding of Harry grows naturally and comes from his consistency in training the boys. I'm looking forward to Harry realizing how much the quiet times actually mean and to seeing how Harry and Draco begin to get along better.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad that you are enjoying the story. I think all of them are growing and changing and finding out more and more about each other. As for the boys getting along better...stay tuned for the next chapter. Though I'm finding it almost as hard to write them starting to accept each other (and make it believable) as I did the conflict, lol. Thanks again for your kind words. :)

great story so far, severus is showing his caring side somewhat and i'm glad he isn't going out of his way to be mean to harry and inviting him to spend christmas with him was nice and thoughtful, even sev is punishing draco in the same way shows that he isn't being cruel just to be cruel
Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Yes, Severus does care about Harry and Draco, though he is not open about showing it. He realizes deep down that both the boys need him (now to get him to admit that he needs them too). And he is strict and expects a good deal from them, but he would never be truly cruel, not even to Harry. I just don't see Sev as cruel. He is more aloof and stern. Thanks again for reviewing. :)
