Reviews For Connections
Author's Response: Well, poor Harry in one sense, but not so much in another. He's finding out he might be accountable to someone now. Someone that might care about him a little bit. But I'm going to hush now before I give away things from later chapters. :) So glad that you are enjoying the story and thank you very much for reading and reviewiing. More will be on the way soon. Great chapter! I'm anxiously awaiting more :) Author's Response: Hi Jade, Thank you so very much for the wonderful review. I love trying to get the picture in my mind into print, so I'm glad that the descriptions work for you and that you like them. I've always loved reading and writing details, though now I find myself writing a lot more dialogue than I used to. It depends on where the characters want to take me as a good bit of the time I'm just along for the ride and trying to type fast enough to keep up! And yes, Snape is beginning to care, though he's still plenty hesitant. At least he finally took the first step. Yay! You caught what I was trying to do with the boys' punishment. Pretty much the same thing for the same 'crime'. I agree, Snape is fair. Stern as all get out, but fair. :) I'm almost done with the next chapter so hopefully not much longer to wait. Thanks again for reading and reviewing. Fox
~Jade Author's Response: Hi Jade, Thank you so very much for your lovely review. I'm delighted to hear you like the Snape/Draco relationship. The little Dragon was my first love of 'Sev's boys' (even though Harry is now just as dear to me) and so you will see more chapters with them interacting. I have always thought Draco was a good kid underneath, he just needed someone to actually care and hold him accountable for his actions without being excessive or cruel like I feel Lucius would be. Snape is just the man for the job. The question is, is Snape up to dealing with both Draco and Harry?? Stay tuned and find out. :) Thanks again for reading and reviewing. The next chapter should be up soon and I am glad that you are enjoying the story so far. Fox
Tracy Author's Response: Hi Tracy! What's this? Wanting to be mean to my Sev? Tsk tsk! Can't allow that. But he is without a doubt WAY too stubborn, I'll admit that! Even though he has his reasons and his own inner demons to deal with. And oh yes, Minerva showed great restraint I think, lol. Harry will eventually get plenty of hugs, never fear. My softy heart won't allow otherwise. But...they will be in the VERY distant future. Thanks so much for reading nad reviewing. I'm glad you are enjoying it. :) Fox
'"Why did I become a teacher?" Snape muttered to himself. "I thought it would be an easy way to torture brats. Instead they end up torturing me."' ^^ So... Severus! -giggle- Author's Response: *grin* Well, having been a teacher myself, I can relate to Sev's feelings at times, lol. Though I went into it with a bit more thought than torturing kids. :D Thanks for reading and reviewing and I'm glad that you are enjoying the story. :)
Author's Response: Aw, well the wait will soon be over. The next chapter should be up soon. Meanwhile, thanks so much for reading and reviewing. I'm glad that you are enjoying the story. :)
Author's Response: Hmm, maybe because it's Snape? lol But even our stubborn Potions Master can't hold out forever. Thanks for reading and reviewing and I'm glad you like the story. The next chapter should be up soon. :)
Author's Response: Hi Jan! Yep that was a bit intense with the nightmare and the next one will be as well. As for Snape...I am going to stay quiet and let you read the next chapter, which should be up soon. So you will get your wish. There is more. :) Fox
Author's Response: Thank you tons for the great review., Jan. In my opinion Dumbledore and McGonagall are as close to parental figures as Snape has. They both care for the younger man very much. Of course Mr. Stubborn would never admit the affection might be returned. Glad the dialouge worked for you. I find myself using a lot of dialouge when I write, more than I used to. But it sounds right in my head, so it gets put down in the story. :) And I agree, it's not fair that my poor little Dragon wound up in trouble and Harry was let off. But then again, as Tracy had pointed out in her review, Draco had the concern and love of Snape while Harry had no one really. No one cared enough to hold him accountable, they only wanted to use his talent. So perhaps it all evens out. Thanks again for all your comments. They made my day. :) Fox
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing. I have some plans to eventually reveal how the link came about. It will be slowly hinted at throughout the story. Glad that you are enjoying things thus far. :) |
