I really like how you’ve portrayed both Snape and Harry. They are both trying to engage, but are uncertain as they navigate this new territory. Thanks for the great chapter.
I'm really enjoying your story. Snape is not overly affectionate in the second chapter and Harry isn't cringing in fear at every noise. Good job, I can't wait for more.

That was a great chapter. It's good to see that Severus is taking the responsibility of Harry's guardianship seriously, and telling him that he wants to know if Harry has a problem with nightmares or anything in general. It would have been so easy for Sev to dump Harry in the house and ignore him the rest of the time he was there. Looking forward to more, keep up the good work, and update soon. LES
Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted Snape to have just as much trouble adjusting and figuring things out as Harry. It is BOTH of their journeys that I am trying to portray here. ;) I wish I could give you a teaser for the next chapter - which I will post soon, no worries - because I really think you're going to like where it's going. Here's a minor spoiler...Harry isn't completely honest with our dear Snape and as a result something unexpected takes place.
