I loved the way that Severus handled Higgnite! I hope that Harry finds some more emotional stability as he grows more comfortable relying on Severus.

Yeah, the coma was one, and the other was that you have Ron and Hermione in Potions class together in this chapter, after having explained why Ron WASN'T taking Potions this year in a previous one. And why would they be duelling in Potions class next to all those volatile ingredients and amongst all of the worktables?

Good chapter. An inconsistancy that you may not have noticed- Last chapter you said Ron wasn't taking potions but yet he was in this chapter. I'm sure a good beta will probably fix those little errors. Anyways great chapter and hopefully more soon!

Author's Response: Thank you for the great review!!! I'm sure that you are right about the beta. lol. ;) I'll be recruiting soon. Enjoy the chap.'s to come!

An interesting new development with the DADA teacher. I find the idea of an illness that drains magic an interesting possibility - after all, if it is possible to lose eyesight, or hearing, or mobility as a result of a disease, then why not magic? And I can definately see how it would have some pretty significant psychological issues inherent in it. An interesting idea, and one with a lot of potential in terms of character development.

I really liked the scene where Snape didn't show up on time, as well. I found his parental side very amusing, and liked how you explored Harry's lingering insecurities and his initial fear and flashbacks. I find it very much in keeping with the typical emotional progression of abuse victims - steady progress, but occasional regressions. Recovery doesn't happen all at once - it's a long, slow proccess, and there are obstacles and setbacks.

Author's Response: I am really glad that you have liked the story thus far! Thank you for the wonderful review!! I wanted to make Harry's recovering as realisitc as I most possibly could. lol. I've dealt with what he's going through personally so I think writing this story is more about getting out how I feel than anything else. lol. And other fans get to benefit. ;) How cool is that. Anyway, I am loving how Snape has just grown into this parental figure. Not that he doesn't have his moments where he is TOTALLY out of depth, but the man is amazing. I am having a blast writing about these two! Glad that you enjoyed it so far!!

Great chapter, I love the fact that Severus took what Harry said about Higgnite seriously, and went and talked to her about it. It's good to see Sev being such a father and not second guessing his feeling for Harry. Looking forward to the next chapter, keep up the great work and update soon. LES

Author's Response: Aww! That was such a great review...I am glad that you liked it! I was a little insecure about posting this chapter because of the new character, but your wonderful response has helped bolster my fangirl ego. ;) Enjoy the next chapter. . .:) Coming Soon.
