I would be super pissed at both Snape and lupin because they are terrible for Harry's mental state right now. he is depressed and hurt and blaming himself for everything and they are not making it better at all

I love this story! Update soon please, I feel really bad for Harry because I feel like everyone is expecting too much of him... it is simply not possible for a 14 year old boy to be so self-contained!

While it's certainly well written, this fic has made me practically burst into tears. I'm seriously starting to wonder how Harry keeps going and why he hasn't yet considered suicide as an option. On another note, it seems that Remus is in some way being manipulated by Snape to his point of view. Considering what Lupin has been through, I suppose I can't really blame him for being a bit of a push over, but he doesn't seem to be all that sympathetic (or empathetic, really) to Harry's plight. Is this intentional? Oh, and kudos for making Ginny so likeable. I've read far too many fics with Beastly!Ginny and it's not fair to her character.

now, with a few weeks having passed by... I still think poor thing, but I do not want him to jump off a bridge anymore ;)
It will be a hard and trying time for him. But he is not Harry at the moment and he might/ought to try and make friends in Slytherin and to learn about them, from them ... sort of.
Imho, since he's so close to his Owl, he needs a (new) pet. Someone he can talk to and cuddle and talk about his feelings and thoughts.
Okay, just my thoughts at this point.
*chases after her own new pet, which is playing havok with her desk right now*

(In case you're too young to recognize this quote, it basically means, "Are you out there?"...)
Oh, I just love your story and I hope that you are going to update soon. I am really anxious for Harry to find out that Snape is his father.
I like that you don`t make Snape too mushy, I really hate when then happens in stories; but I like that he is gradually beginning to be nicer to Harry without it changing his basic character.
It would be true to character for Snape not to show his emotions easily, and giving Harry breakfast and reqassuring him that Lupin is not really mad at him; in a roundabout way, are really in character.
Please don`t abandon this story; you have left me on eggshells. Good job.
Just a quick adendum. I remember that Harry WILL be sorted into Slytherin. Is that when he will slit his wrists?

Well, I gritted my teeth and forced myself to get this far. And that is not an indictment of your writing--that is wonderful and you paint a very vivid picture.
It is just that my heart bleeds for Harry. He has absolutely no-one and nothing. Snape hates him, Lupin seems to hate him, all of the Weasleys except maybe Ginny hate him, and even Fang would have nothing to do with him. He can't even see hedwig.
On top of that, Ron, Fred and George seem to be plotting how to ambush him at the earliest possible time.
I ask you, what is the point? This kid will be so depressed, all he will want to do is slit his wrists and maybe then, Snape would be happy. I don't even know why they are worried about keeping Harry out of harm's way. Normally Snape would be happy to think of HArry being under Fudge's control. Harry isn't needed to save the wizarding world anymore, so why do they care? And it can't all be because Lupin would feel guilty if they deserted him.
I really will scream if Harry is sorted into Slytherin and has to become friends with Malfoy.
I have to go and take a calming draught now.
