You haven't updated in soo long! How long are we going to have to wait for the next chapter??
This is one of my favorite stories, and it's wonderful to see your update. I like when fiction is driven by the characters (as opposed to events), and you've done a great job creating the necessary internal conflict to sustain the story.
Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, there's plenty of internal conflict to go around in this. I enjoy seeing characters put under emotional stress, because that's when the most interesting changes take place.
I'm so happy to see another chapter after so long! I kept tracking it just in case you would continue, because it is my favorite story on this site. You really capture a level of frustration and anger beneath the surface in Harry that I really feel when I read it. I feel so frustrated and unsettled on his behalf.
I can't wait to see more of this story.
Author's Response: Thank you for keeping it on your list... I was sure most people would have removed it after all that time. :-)

i think lupin talk to snape about harry but snape' act only fake.poor harry.snape is heartless, cold old bat.i dont like him now.
Oh, cliff hanger! Given that now I fear you shall leave us hanging on that for a year or more, you terrify me. I do love the way you write Snape, close to canon in his deep dislike of Harry and his meanness and confusion (I like my Snapes nasty). Granted, I could selfishly wish you had updated "Three Times Trouble" instead as it's my favorite, but since this was an excellent chapter, I won't quibble.
Lupin's advice for a young spy is chilling, true, and very sad. I keep feeling more and more sorry for Harry, and hoping Lupin will finally figure out how much Harry's anger is frustration and sublimated grief. As lonely as he is, in his position, I would be sullen as hell too.
Wonderful chapter. You really make me feel for everyone involved.
Excellent chapter! Glad to see you continuing this story, as it is one of my favorites.
I was glad that Lupin spent some time trying to actually listen to Harry and also attempting to get him to understand something of the harrowing nature of what he and Snape are trying to do. It came at a good time, as Harry was careful later in Snape's study. I suppose this means that the Ministry remains quite suspicious.

Poor Harry. I am sorry that Snape's reaction was such a disappointment to him. I thought that the conversation between Harry and Lupin was well done. I am very curious about what it was that he did not get around to telling Harry.
I was absolutely thrilled to see the update. I think this is one of the truly great stories. I had decided, however, that either you had lost interest or RL had forced you to give up writing so I had given up hoping for an update. I am so happy I was wrong.
