Well, I hope Lupin and Snape aren't both covering up something awful that's happened to the Weasleys. Something really bad must have happened to send them into hiding like that.
Poor Sirius is in hell? Because it's not angst if the person you got killed gets to frolic with angels. But I have the feeling he isn't on this fic's main characters list just because both Harry and Lupin are angsting over him.
Author's Response: The thing with the Weasleys is actually fairly straightforward. The Ministry was bothering them (to the point that their place was ransacked by Aurors, as Ron mentioned to Harry) due to their membership in the Order and loyalty to Dumbledore. They, like a lot of others right now, are Fudge's targets in his little campaign.
RE: Sirius. Well, Remus seems to think that, but it's hard to say if he's right, since he gave no evidence. It certainly would be unfair to leave Sirius in Hell if that's where he is. On the other hand, Remus is with Snape now, and Harry is SnapeSpawn, so perhaps Sirius would be happier just to be left alone, thank you very much. :-)
