Fantastic! I wish that I could have seen Ron's fuss though. Does he still want to be friends with Harry? I loved the descriptions through Harry's eyes, very well done! The part with the slats in the cupboard door was very interesting, I didn't think that they were that big. I really like ow Harry can pick his way out of the cupboard. Dudley is very incharacter, and he's an actual character here, which I'm sorry to say isn't usual. Once again, fantastic job! Thank you for posting it. Will we get more soon? I am very interested in the fact that this will be a Severitus. I think it could be very enthralling just as a Guardian fic, with Snape doing it on Dumbledore's orders or something, but this throws a new dimension into it. I wonder how it'll turn out. I've had this story in my head for a while (and always wanted to do a Severitus), but I was hesitant to write it because I'm not sure how my ideas are going to be received. Most Severitus fics are very similar to one another, which of course makes sense since they are all based on the same challenge, but that means that readers have very specific expectation when they start to read a Severitus.
I have the entire story outlined in detail, with many parts written out. I expect it'll move along fairly steadily, or at least I hope it never joins the ranks of all those poor unfinished Severitus stories out there.
I think Snape-as-Guardian is quite interesting as well. If I wasn't so set on writing a Severitus, that's exactly what I would do, because in a way it leaves possibilities for the story much more open.
