Wow! Great story so far. I absolutley felt both Harry's despair and Snape's complete uncertainty in dealing with this. You are an excellent writer (and hopefully a frequent updater). Thanks for sharing.

Oh, lovely, lovely story, and so well written! Your Snape is marvelous, believable and utterly in character, yet not a complete bastard. And Harry...I hurt for your Harry. What a hard spot to be in, what a choice to make! Particularly the bit about not wanting Dumbledore to know, not wanting to know himself if Dumbledore knows and still leaves him there...oh, yes, I hurt for your Harry. And I hope Snape does something for him. And that Dumbledore doesn't know, for Harry's sake. I don't think this Harry can stand many more disappointments, much less outright betrayal.

Fantastic! I love Snape's voice and thoughts- the writing is wonderfully done! The tension, and discovery is just delicious. I loved it when Snape called him Harry. He seems so falsely alluring there. Lovely job. Thank you so much for deciding to share this with us! I hope there's an update soon!
