I’m always relieved by Dumbledore’s answers and demeanor. I appreciate that you’ve made him caring.

I’m so glad that Snape broke his promise to Harry. The dialogue in this chapter was excellent.

I am SO VERY EAGER to see what Snape has to say to the Dursleys. I love external POVs on situations the audience is familiar with.
Also, I have to congratulate you. I can almost believe in Vernon as a physical abuser. I've *never* managed that before!

I've read to this point before, lost trackof it, and now have read it again. This is a brilliant fic. Imust, however, admit that I Hope the Reason Dumbledore brought Severus, is that while he will be 'civil' and appropriate, he can trust Severus Not to be so... and has thus, brought him along with full intent for extreme prejudice towards the Dursleys.
Bet you thought I forgot about you, didn't you? :) I had to take a break from reading to finish my own chapter...but now I've got to get caught up so I can read your sequel! Aaaa!
Anyway, I really loved this chapter - everyone was so great. I loved how gentle, yet furious Dumbledore was at the same time. And how snape-like Snape was, though you could see his concern. Well done!
Yay, really good. I like how you've portrayed Dumbledore as a concerned old man/grandfather figure rather than the meddling old fool that a lot of authors seem to favour. Plus, the characterisation and details of the different relationships between Harry, Snape and Dumbledore is really quite something.
