Wow. Just... wow. I've been reading this story non-stop since I discovered it last night. That was such a good read. Your analysis of Harry and his past, Ron and Hermione's characterization, Snape portrayed as a broken man but Harry forgiving him nonetheless... all of it. Thank you for sharing.
Just read this again and it's still sooooo good. Such realistic characterization without being completely frustrating and enough softness to soothe the more difficult moments.
Wow. That was a really weird ending. It was a really weird story, though. Not in a bad way, I just think a lot of it went over my head. While I understood what was happening and the emotions and character of each person, I still feel like I was missing something. I did like that last little bit. A refrence to the Severus and Lily they had to obliviate?
BRUH. The personalities you wrote were by far my favorite thing about this fic, the characters all felt so complicated and 3 dimensional. I’ve read so many fics where the moment Snape finds out about the Dursleys, he pretty much has a complete change of character. I don’t dislike those stories, but something like what you’ve done, where Snape struggles to change, feels so much more natural and I love it!

Wonderful ending thank you
It is 04:30 and this has been a beautiful experience. Also, Snape quoting Iago was something I never knew I needed. Thank you so much for this masterpiece.
I'm glad you finished this, but I wish that Harry hadn't forgiven Dumbledore.
I really enjoyed this story! I liked that their relationship took some work on both of their parts instead of just everything being okay as soon as Severus saw how bad Harry's childhood was. Your way was much more realistic. Nice job!

This really was fabulous. Thank you so much for sharing.
Just finished reading this tale all the way through. I really enjoyed it! I like how Harry and Snape continue to struggle with the boundaries of their new relationship and how they get a little better at getting along after each interaction.
It was a very worthwhile read - thanks for sharing!
