Your chapters are so rich in feeling, as all good fiction should have - I particularly enjoyed Harry's thoughts in the bathroom on his mother's past decisions and likewise, the scene where he voices his genuine care towards Snape.
Plus! I love how Harry is basically issuing Snape orders - no dancing around the issues after all that's happened. ^^
GET RID OF THE PRESENT TENSE!!! IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!
I don't know how I missed this story for 8 chapters, but it's absolutely brilliant!

I really liked this chapter. Snape finally opened up to Harry, although reluctantly, and now Harry has a much better understanding of Snape. It might help them actually get along!

Very good chapter. I've been thinking recently that Hermione would never have done what Lily did. Then, more recently, it dawned on me that Harry wouldn't have done what Lily did either. Oh, they'd have probably had a lot to say about the friend's behavior, but when the apology came, they'd have accepted it. Lily didn't, even though she implied to James in the Worst Memory scene that she wanted Snape's apology to come on his own accord. But then when he brought his apology, and was willing to stay all night at the Gryffindor door (imagine if the Marauders had come along - he was inviting attack), she still wouldn't forgive him.
Lovely chapter. I, too, was disturbed in DH that Lily threw away a 7 year friendship with Severus and stopped trying to help him. I'll be interested to see how the rest of this plays out. I think that the canon name of Harry's second son shows that he did some major thinking along these lines.
That's the first time I saw a story in which Harry blames his mother. Snape was great when he did! I loved the conversation and Harry's mind's making parallels between their lives. And I do believe he'd have done anything for Ron and Hermione, just as he said. Too bad his Mum didn't for Snape. Wonderful chapter!
