Great inclusion of Hagrid! Thanks for capturing Harry’s emotions so well. I hope the nightmares abate.
Oh, that was wonderful with Hagrid and Fang! You do great with showing emotion. Snape was spot on, I think, after the nightmare and swearing never to drink and crying. I could picture it, even if that's an emotion not used for our older hero.

I just wanted to say that I love your characterization of a seven-year-old Harry. You write Harry's seven-year-old POV very well.
Yay, Hagrid XD I was wondering when he'd show up. I like how he's very accepting of Harry and his new situation, despite the fact that he probably was close to James and Lily.
That dream has probably dredged up some huge angst factor for Snape XD (I know I shouldn't be so cheerful but seeing Snape confront himself and begin to chip away the black tarnish that is covering his soul is so nice to read XD)

Well, it was nice for the most part. I wanted ask you, is it going to be a long story or just Harry's first year as Harry Snape at Hogwarts?
Lovely chapter! I like how you give a realistic quality to the emotional parts of the story...like when Harry tells Snape that he loves him. It's not like a "Gee, Dad..." Leave it to Beaver kind of moment, but it's almost as if Harry looks at him curiously...probably the first time he's ever known what love is. I just really loved that part...and the nightmare scene. You know Snape truly loves Harry, because he can't stand to see him suffer.
And Hagrid! I loved his appearance! Snape won't freak out at Harry's absence, will he? I'm anxious for the next chapter to find out what Snape discusses with Dumbledore! Oh, and also can't wait for the Draco chapters :)
Excellent job, as always! Have a good weekend. I'm anxiously awaiting the update :)

Awwwwwww...he met Hagrid! Now I hope nothing will happen to make him scared of Hagrid. hopefully they will remain friends.
