Aww! I actually feel really pretty bad for Draco. That ought to teach him though. Good grief! Flying their brooms over the lake... Poor giant squid is no more, lol. I always got the impression he was a... well, maybe not GENTLE squid, but never inflicted harm on purpose. Of course, we've seen the squid a total of what... two, three times? Lol.
I'm anxious to see what happens from here what with Harry's injuries and Draco being in trouble. That poor child goes through so much. Lol. I hope to see a day when he's not so accident prone, and gets to go through some other trying experiences other than physical calamities :)

Author's Response: Yeah, maybe the squid thought they were toast, or something. ;-) The next chapter will deal mostly with Sev picking up the pieces. Thanks for the review!
Good going Snape, terrify a seven year old! I feel sorry for Draco, he's just a little guy too. Ah well, knowing you, there is more than one comeuppance coming. :)
Author's Response: Indeed. Sev has a bit of apologizing to do . . . as do the boyz.

Heh. At the very least I'd think Poppy's likely to tear Severus a new orifice. Which, sad to say, he pretty much deserves, though I suppose it's only fair to make allowances for stress. Poor Draco. And who knew I'd ever have such a thought as 'poor Draco?' It's sick and wrong, that's what it is! :)
Author's Response: I know! But I imagine you'll get over it. ;-) And yeah, Poppy doesn't like yelling in her infirmary, full stop . . . and yelling at a child? Yikes.
Poor Harry! He really cant ever seem to go a day without being in the infirmary. Poor Draco too, for being scared about the squid getting Harry and then Snape had to go and yell at the kid. Great chapter and I cant wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks! Next chapter will be mostly cleaning up the mess (physically and emotionally).
