Holy hell! No wonder he's afraid of baths! Good grief. Wow. That's intense, man. The closest thing to a scary bath memory I have is being about 1 or 2 and sitting in oh.. 3 inches of water. My mom left the bathroom for a moment with my brother watching me. He wasn't REALLY watching me though, and I kinda laid down on my back. I couldn't get back up because it was so slippery, but I wasn't drowning or anything. It scared the crap out of me though. Enough that I still remember it. Lol.
I feel so bad for Harry. He constantly thinks that if he messes up Severus is going to send him away. As if it's love under certain conditions, as opposed to unconditional. *Shakes head* How can you not love that kid? I always wondered how his elementary teachers didn't see right through everything, what with how sweet he is. Even in canon, he's a very sweet, bright child. Who wears terribly oversized clothes while the rest of his family looks way nice. Blind teachers. Lol.

Poor Harry! I wouldn't think that lake water would be good for his healing hand or his lungs. And then thinking he had to go back to that Hellhole. You just want to scoop him up and cradle him like a baby. And poor Draco being molded just like his Dad.
What a lovely chapter. The last line gave me chills. You have a great way of describing ordinary things using rich language...The line: "Pale eyebrows went up over grey eyes like a summer storm." is one of the best similes I've read in a long time.
I'm so glad Severus apologized before lecturing...and that he's waiting for Harry. I think if Snape would have spared Harry from the "Rules Lecture," it would only make him feel more secluded and delicate, and let's face it: Harry doesn't like being coddled...at least not all of the time.
And by the way, your stories definitely deserve to be featured, not only because they're brilliant, but also because you update regularly to keep us antsy readers quite happy...lol. I've never known anyone to write so quickly, yet produce such brilliant chaters...every time. :)
Cute ending with Severus assuring little Harry he'd never send him away. As usual, great chapter!
That was a very, very sweet chapter!
