Great story! I was referred to this site because of my love of Harry and Snape and this is the first story that caught my eye and I loved it!
i can't wait to see what he has in store for the dursleys.
man...i feel bad for harry! another good chapter!

I just wanted to say that I love your characterization of a seven-year-old Harry. You write Harry's seven-year-old POV very well.

This story was fantastic!! ^_^
You know, I'm not one for child fics, but somehow, you sold me on this one! Your fic is one of the reasons I won't say "I'll never read…" whatever, because when it's written well, I completely forget I'm not partial to child fics!
When Severus tugs Harry's lip out from between his teeth, it gets me every time! Such a beautifully realized little detail that shows how much he cares. And Fang's drool trailing away in a line...ick! I could see the drool so perfectly, it made my stomach churn. At least Harry doesn't seem to mind.
Oh, and I love the teaser lines at the end of chapters that make me want to read the next chapter right away.

this is so fabulous. i am so glad that you already started the other one so i can go start in on it!! you are fabulous, your depiction of young abused harry is fabulous and you do a great job with snape. i think had someone intervened earlier, like in this story, he could have been a very different person. you do a good job of showing that, but you keep him in character as well. fabulous job!!

After reading Better Be Slytherin!, of course I had to check out your profile and found this marvelous work. I loved it. I love watching Snape care for a young Harry and I love little Ron and Draco too.
