Ohhhhh sad. I did like Draco. I guess Sevvy doesn’t then?
It’s cute. I hope they’ll become friends. I like the cute little friendly banter.

A heartwarming story in which Snape and a 7 year-old Harry both get the nurturing they both desperately needed. Gives me a warm glow inside without being overly sweet, being the story of two people who are both slowly learning what it is like to give and receive love, with all the mistakes such an unaccustomed activity leads to. Lots of mistakes - like real people do instead of a facile "and they all lived happily ever after. The problems little Harry faces due to his past abuse are not glossed over, but are recognized -- with all the mistakes a new father would be expected to make -- while Snape's own chequered upbringing helps him to understand his new son. Really, the premise of Snape really being Harry's blood father (instead of his adopted one) even feels a little redundant; there is obviously enough love in him for the boy that him it wouldn't matter. Since it always felt to me that Snape got the short end of the emotional stick in the Harry Potter stories (it always felt like being bullied by James was the least of his problems; I always suspected a very bad home life) it made me feel good to see him in a situation where he got the love I always felt was severely lacking in his home life.
I got to the end and went to press next. It wasn't there. All I was think was 'I want to read more!' -Doublesims

I favorited Whelp 1 and 2! It's so heart wrenching seeing (reading) a seven years old being abused that bad. I'm glad that in the end Harry was happy with his father.
