Reviews For Whelp
Great chapter, and I love how Harry is calling Snape father. I can't wait to read more of this fic! It's fantastic. Author's Response: Thanks for the review! As for baths, Harry will likely get a proper one before he gets dressed, but Snape did wash him by hand after he did some healing, so it wasn't just the Scourgify.
"...The ward must be based in truest love to continue the protections his mother lent him. But you loved Lily, didn't you, my dear boy?"" that is a GREAT idea! Nice call! The wards could work on LOVE! That's why Lily's family had to take Harry, because Petunia would have loved her, or hopefully so. And is Snape did too... nice going! You used blood here, but i think other people will be using wards based on love some time... "Either Ligilimancy or observant eyes could have told him the truth." It's Legilimency. :) "But if I can not do it . . ." "Then he will need to go back. I'm sorry, Severus." Wow. Playing on he guilt, huh Dumbledore? Great chapter. Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I couldn't remember how to spell Legilimency, and both ways I tried it looked wrong, so thanks for that, too! About the adoptiopn and love, I figured, there's such an emphasis on love as the power the Dark Lord knows not, that it would be the perfect basis for the blood wards. Thanks again!
Sad ending to this chapter. Poor little Harry. On the other hand, things seem to be going pretty well for him. Let's hope the adoption goes through with no problems. Author's Response: Well, now, where's the fun of "no problems"? :-) I should have anew chapter today or tomorrow. Thanks for the review!
I wonder if all of this is going to cramp his teaching style. Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Since this will be Snape's first go at teaching, this fall, he won't have too much of a style to cramp yet. But yeah, patience isn't really his strong suit when it comes to interpersonal skills. Potions, sure, but people . . . :)
Author's Response: And another! Thanks for reading and reviewing . ..
