I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the torture/rape warning, but I think you pulled it off brilliantly. The last couple paragraphs almost made me rejoice outloud (and I'm sitting here at work. lol).
Poor Harry...I have a feeling he'll be extremely affected by what happened. I hope he's able to recover.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yeah, the next few chapters are going to be really angsty and full of the repercussions of what I've put the poor kid through. Oh, and Snape being all human and stuff. ;-)
I debated with myself for a long time about whether to include the rape, and had a really hard time actually writing the chapter, in truth. But I figured in the long run, I was all about the angst, and it would give Snape more of a chance to be self-flagellatory, 'cause he's the one that came up with the plan that failed so spectacularly.
