To be honest, I am a bit disappointed that only Harry got tortured. I think voldemort's anger at Severus would cause him to torture Severus first, to teach him a lesson. I also can't see Voldemort raping anyone.

Apart from that. I really like the idea of Severus helping Harry through this traumatic experience

I"m surprised at how well Harry reacted to Severus and at how much guilt Severus feels because at the time it had felt like the only option.

I feel the need to tell you the victory dance last chapter was for their escape; I'm not sadistic to the good guys...

I'm almost crying. That was so horrible...so horrible!...but so incredibly well-done. Kudos to you for being willing to write such a hard-hitting story.

What an amazing chapter (and story). I could literally feel Harry's anguish towards the end. The poor boy has been through so much. I'm sure he will have a very difficult time dealing with this, but hopefully he will come to understand that Snape is probably the only person that can help him. I don't think that anyone could truly understand what he went through unless they were there at the time. He may not understand it, but luckily Snape witnessed every horrible thing that happened to him.

Anyway, I'm sure the two have a very long road ahead of them. Update soon, please...

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! You hit it spot on; the basis for the upcoming chapters, with Snape the only one who can understand what happened, on severla levels.  I'm working on the next chapter now; it should be up by tomorrow at the latest.  Thanks, again!

You are spoiling me, you are. All I have to do is check the site before I go to work and before I go to bed, and you seem to always have an update. I'm in hurt/comfort heaven. Lol.

It's a terrible thing what Harry went through, but I'm glad you're having Snape handle it with as much maturity as he is. I don't think (book-wise) he'd ever taunt him about it, but I'm fairly certain he'd still ridicule him and put him down every chance he got, in the future - but I'm glad to know (at least I THINK) this isn't going in that direction.

    Great job again :D

Author's Response: I can't make any promises that Snape won't be a complete a** from time to time, 'cause, well, he's Snape, but no, this fics not going that way, overall.  Thanks for the review!

Hidden? And who better to lead him out of darkness than a man who has travelled both light and dark.

    Author's Response: Indeed.  :-)
