Is the voice Lilly? I was starting to think that Harry would be blind forever so I'm glad that's cleared up. I'm seriously worried about Harry though, I hope he has a conversation with Severus soon.

Now I *am* crying, dang it. That last part in Harry's perspective was heartbreaking.
Author's Response: Thank you for your reviews! I hope you get a chance to finish the story, and read the sequel, too, which is about half done at this point.
So who was talking to him?
"But finally, he gave in to the soothing, slippery voice, lifted away the last barrier and allowed the presence inside."
Indeed. Well, well, I wonder what that's all about. Slippery, eh?
Author's Response: Yep, slippery. And sibilant, mustn't forget sibilant. ;-)

Heeeee. I love it.
Author's Response: Thanks! New chapter this weekend . . . earlier if I can manage . . .
Oh, he's back, he's back! Maybe it's just me, but I felt like the words "Just tired." carried a lot of weight...as if Harry is tired of being alone and afraid and abused. Awesome diction there ;) You have got to be the fastest updater in the world. Thank you so much for that!
Lovely, lovely chapter!
Author's Response: Yes! "Just tired" is mean to convey a lot. And it will become more clear over the next few chapters. And thanks! I have a lot of time to write at work, and so I do. :-)
How very interesting. Poor Harry. Seriously, what a terrible thing to go through. I'm glad Severus got some sort of response from him - I'm surprised after such a long comatose-like state, Dumbledore didn't insist, or take him to St. Mungo's himself, but it still seems to work nonetheless :)
Good job!
Keira
Author's Response: Hi Kiera, Thanks! Yeah, I considered having Snape worry about that -- like he might need to send Harry away after all -- but figured I'd wait till another chapter to mention that.
That was kinda freaky with him stuck in that state but I'm glad he woke up or whatever. Great chapter and hopefully more soon!
Author's Response: Thanks! There will be more "freaky" in store for Harry, I'm afraid, but he's out of the woods for the moment.
Great chapter! Snape is great in this. I'm so glad Harry can see and you brought him out of the abyss. I really look forward to updates of this story because I like your writing style and I'm curious to see how you handle this recovery and developing relationship.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm enjoying writing this story and am glad folks are getting a kick out of reading. I should have a new chapter done by the weekend.
