Intense chapter with all those memories and Harry's reactions afterwards. This randomly occured to me- but I'm wondering if Harry's boggart has changed...?
Well that chapter sure got to me. Terrifying and sad and hopeful, too. It was a good crack in the block that was hiding Harry's deepest horrors.
Very strong writing. Yes, and cathartic for the reader as well, as I feel we've been waiting for a moment like this.
I'm very interested to see how Harry reacts around others, especially coming off of such an episode. Even more, I'm interested to see how the rest of the staff -- and Lupin if he's there - react to Harry and to Snape. I don't suppose anyone other than Dumbledore has much comprehension of what went on, or what's currently taking place in the dungeons, but several at least must realize something really awful happened to Harry..
God, I think this chapter was cathartic for us all. lol. You did a really nice job with this chapter. I think it's interesting how Harry picked up on Voldemort's odd behavior. You've written Voldemort and Lucius, especially, how I imagine them to be...twisted and manipulative. I wonder if Harry will ever allow himself to be comforted...probably not, but I like the subtle support Severus provides him...like when Harry took his hand and let Snape help him up.
I hope this story is featured as well. It's unbelievable. I feel like printing it out, binding it, and keeping a copy of it with my HP books, because it's definitely worthy :)
You are so good at writing details guaranteed to hit the right nerves in readers. Very, very strong chapter. Yes, I can definitely believe that it was very hard to write.
