I can safely say that I did not expect Nott to actually hurt Harry. Don't they ever learn? I hope Severus isn't in any serious punishment and that they'll escape soon.
Ohmigod I am so glad that Harry understands that Severus is on his side but I am a little confused as to why Harry believes that. And Voldemort's line, "And immortality," Voldemort said quietly. "Don't forget that.," was hilarious. I didn't realize he had a sense of humor. I hope Harry and Severus can escape soon.
The Boy Who Would Not Break, Even When He Clearly Should, that made me laugh. It's amazing that Voldemort thinks he can turn Harry against everyone who has helped him in his past. I know Dumbledore wasn't there to save Harry but I didn't expect everyone to turn against him like that.
I like how you took care of all my questions right away, without even reading my review. Why hasn't Severus told Dumbledore where Harry is yet? And it seems silly for the Dursleys to beat Harry just before they left. But perhaps they are just extremely irrational people with pent-up rage.
Wouldn't Arabella Fig have noticed the Dursley's moving out? I'm surprised that Petunia would have moved out since she was the one who decided to take him in in the first place so she knew the risks.
Why doesn't Severus save Harry right now? He can see that Harry can't fight.

I read this ages ago on fanfiction.net and stumbled on it again on this site. It's such an amazing story! Really well written and I love how you write Snape. It's really convincing! Now I'm going to read the sequel!

I know it's been over three years since you finished this fic, but I hope you see this all the same. This was one of the first fics I read when I found this site, and it's by far one of the best I've ever read. I've re-read this story more times than I want to admit, and it never gets old. It's just so beautifully written. It takes a certain type of fic to make my heart ache, and there was a lot of that here, but in the best way. You captured Harry and Severus perfectly and it's just a breathtaking tale. Thank you so much.
