Reviews For Three Times Trouble
PS: Glad to see you writing again too. :D Author's Response: Thank you! This story is really fun to write. Look for an update either this week or next. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks! I try to give all characters their own problems to deal with so that they don't just exist for Harry (which I think is a big flaw in many stories: characters around Harry seem to have no interests other than to be... well, around Harry). Of course, writing from a single point of view (Harry's) sometimes makes it tricky to show everyone else's motivations.
Poor Harry. He's really having a rough time of it, isn't he? CAn't wait for the next chapter. Author's Response: If Neville had been the one to confront him, Ron might not have freaked out so badly. Being confronted by Malfoy really locked him into confrontational mode and all he sees is his friends are siding with Malfoy. He didn't exactly set out to be a bully, though. He did try to calm Noah down in other ways, progressing (presumably) from being nice to bribery to threats to emotional abuse, which isn't too uncommon for people who don't know how to deal with a crying child. But, yes, I am just using this to show Ron and Hermione falling apart over Harry's "death". Ron seems more the type to go around blowing up at people and being moody and angry, than to talk about his feelings and cry. Picking on a "failed" Gryffindor also seems appropriate, since Ron must be feeling like a failed Gryffindor himself (he wasn't even present for the final battle). People often bully someone over things that they secretly have in common. Well, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reviewing. |
