Reviews For Three Times Trouble
I love this fic and you are torturing meeeee.... :) I hope that there will be more soon! But I know I have no right to ask it considering the update status of my own fics...
Poor Harry and his letters! it must be hard to have them, and think of his friends and what they must go through now that he's 'dead'. "Sirius was holding a Muggle-style lighter." Cool! And so Sirius-like, even at 10 years old! Missing quotation here: "I'm sorry, Sirius repeated. "You don't have to --" I liked this: "He got a cuff on his ear for his trouble, and howled with pain, clasping both hands over the side of his head." Good way to show his new age! It makes it a lot more real. Sometimes he acts like an adult, like when he was talking to Harry, but this also shows that he's a kid now. good job! I wonder if maybe his ears are super sensitive? Little Lupin is great! I love how he still talks all grown up, and matter of fact, explaining things. I get a kick of imagining that coming out of the mouth of a ten year old! LOL! Haha! Sirius has to call Snape "Sir"! I love it! LOL, him trying to say "Snivellus" and it coming out Sir! haha! "Oh, no, Harry though. He knew exactly what Sirius was getting at." Thought Wow, great chapter. I really enjoyed it. Sirius is such a fun character! I love how he almost flung himself out of a window to see the view, or something. So in character, fantastic job! I really enjoyed the ending too, with the nightmares. I was picturing what it would be like if harry HAD thrown up, and Sirius was still screaming when Snape barged in. Haha! That would have been hilarious! He probably wouldn't have known what to do- or would he? He was a head of house for years... Are all the visitors at Hogwarts staying in the four houses? Draco Malfoy- Hmm... I don't know. It could be fun to see him later, interacting with Harry again once or twice, dropping by unexpectantly, but I'm not attached to the character in this story. Thanks for the update! It was GREAT! Hurray for your "sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic"!!! Author's Response: Yes, and then not even being able to *read* his letters, because of no privacy. I'm glad you liked the lighter. I think Sirius is going to be on the lookout for things he can replace magic with now that he can't use it. And... this is the guy with the flying motorbike, after all. Thank you for the corrections. I definitely need to proof-read more carefully (last chapter had a few typos, too, that I only noticed after I posted it), and not try to proof-read in the middle of the night. :-) Remus is kind of silly. He's so worried that Harry or Sirius will give them away, but I'm pretty sure anyone listening in to their conversations would be more curious about a little kid speaking like an adult than a kid ranting about a mean teacher or something. We might see some of the people staying at Hogwarts later on. For now they're just there to provide some background. The injured are in the infirmary, of course, and anyone else would be staying... wherever there's room available. So, yes, certainly in the dormitories, since those would be already set up with beds and things like that. Probably not Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, since everything on that floor seems to be locked up, and it's a bit far from the main areas of the castle. Thank you for your lovely reviews!

Author's Response: Let me know if there's anything you want to know, and I'll try to cover it. There are a couple of things I'm holding back because they'll come up in the plot later, but if I've left any plot holes, it's possible I haven't noticed them. Besides, sometimes readers have questions that the writer doesn't even think of! :-) |
