You're going to kill me here. Lol. Not only do I have enough trouble keeping up with TWO stories lately, now there's a third one to contend with? ;)
I'm really liking it so far. I've always had a very specific visual of what it would be like if Harry had been sorted into Gryffindor, and so far you're living up to everything I've pictured, so that's got me fairly excited.
Can't wait for more, even if it does take a week!

Very interesting, how such an intelligent man, someone who has been a spy, so should know better, continues to allow his preconceptions blind him so effectively from the truth - how he so bizarrely twists his observations to fit his prejudice, rather than allow the reality of the behaviours to see/show him what he would undoubtedly notice in ANY Other student!! Sad, too.

Well, at least he can't be accused of imprecision, or not making his expecations known from the very beginning. And it's clear he takes the Head of House position seriously, which makes a nice change from, oh, Gryffindor, anyone? :) I've always thought it would be interesting to see how the other Houses were structured/run, and this is a nice beginning.
It'll be interesting to see how long it takes Severus to figure out that Harry's not at all what he thinks. Longer than it would if it were anyone *but* Harry, I'm sure. And then it will be even more interesting to see how well he handles the inescapable fact that he's deliberately blinded himself. Assuming he is capable of valuing self-knowlege, it could be a good growth opportunity. Of course, if he opts for the less-admirable and more petty response, it could also be an excuse to despise Harry on his own 'merits', rather than just using him as a marker for James.
I like your in-character Snape, and *especially* like that even in-character (to whit--sarcastic, supercilious, and just plain mean)he can have enough self-awareness and sense of humour to note the amount of practice it's taken to get his 'bat-moves' just right. :)
Yikes! Snape is... sarcastically mean, but strict and.. wow. Fantastic job with him. I don't know whether I like him, or I just want to squirm away. I bet Harry's going to order pants or something, huh?

Good opening for Snape with the Slytherins. Interesting what Snape says and how Harry reacts to some of the rules. I am guessing about some of Harry's reactions, but am looking forward to Snape learning more. I love it that you're writing this particular story.

I loved Severus's beginning of term speech! It was really well-done, and you kept him in character the whole time. Sometimes I read fics like this where Snape just seems...off...I don't know..lol. But he's perfect in this one.
Poor Harry...although I'm glad Snape noticed him acting kind of oddly. Hopefully he won't embarass Harry too much on his first day of class.
