Alright, you've won me over. I guess it would take a lot for Snape to change his behavior.
I'm rather enjoying this less cruel Snape and am looking forward to reading about how their relationship progresses.

fabulous chapter, you write really well
OMG!! Severus bought Harry a broom!! And he's helping him catch up!! And he's not giving him stupid detentions!! And Harry actually has some free time!! I am a-Squee!!
Of course, I'm sure that this wonderful situation won't last, and Harry will be up to his eyeballs in trouble again, but hopefully now he knows he's got Severus on his side, he'll let him help and not go off trying to save the world (or himself) on his own!!
Loved this chapter - Severus not being an @ss is my favorite kind of Severus!!

INCONTINENCE ISSUES. That's hilarious. KEEP WRITING!
Haha, Snape's note is one of the funniest bits of this chapter. I was practically squeeing over how nice he's being to Harry -- even though we didn't see them in direct contact, it was evident through Harry's perspective. I'm almost wondering why Terry is in Slytherin to begin with -- seems like such a Ravenclaw, but I'm happy that Harry still has a smart buddy to pal around with. Lord knows he couldn't get through everything on his own ;) Gotta love the boy.

I'm glad Harry is doing well, and things are getting better for him. It's nice for him to be able to have a normal school experience for a change, but I have a feeling that that isn't going to last long.
I liked that Severus gave him the broom. It's a great gift, and Severus can justify it to himself as being good for the Slytherin Quidditch team, certainly not because he wanted to give Harry a gift.
I'm glad that Harry learned about the Maruaders---I think it will help him to empathize with Severus. Maybe Severus will learn more about Harry's past and be able to empathize with him, too.
I'm very curious about those chocolates...Dumbledore, Severus, someone totally unexpected...so many possibilities.
