You are so good at not rushing action and giving us the pertinent details. I love angst with hope. I enjoy angst but there's only so much of that one can take without some hope of something better in sight and that hope and respite is what your stories inspire. You must be having decent health at the moment. Hope you enjoyed Ireland. What was it like? Never been out of the United States. Author's Response: Thank you, that's a very kind description. I'm glad you enjoy my stories. And I agree, angst without hope is not for me, either. Ireland was wonderful . . . the climate and topography is similar to Western Oregon, actually, but with castles and Stone Circles and breath-taking views of the ocean and/or rolling country-sides covered with stone walls and sheep. And the breakfasts! We stayed at B&Bs, mostly, and I've never eaten so much in my life!
This has been one of my Fav stories, I am so glad to see that the RL gave you enough time to write another chapter. Nice also how tentative the trust is between Harry and Snape Author's Response: Yeah, it's going to take a while before they can be as confortable with each other as they were towards the middle of the year. But they'll have plenty of time to work it out over the summer. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: One of my main foci of this work is Slytherin House and how it's not the den of iniquity made out to be, where a quarter of all Hogwarts students are singled out when they're 11 years old to be The Evil Ones, or The Dark Ones or whatever. They're just kids, just like in all the other houses, and I wanted to show that, through Harry's experiences. Thank you for reviewing!
