I pity that thing stalking Tobias. Hopefully he serves up its head.

Well, I'm feeling quite disloyal at the moment. I've apparently not been paying attention to updates and completely missed the last few!

First off: Poor McGonagoll! Poor Harry! And, oh bloody hell, poor Tobias! I hope nothing happens to him. He's fast become my favorite character in this story, almost as much as Severus always has been. He's strong, completely Muggle, and a leader amongst Wizardkind. I love it.

And that present was amazing. That's pretty much who I pictured to play Tobias. (woo! Jeremy Irons!) I'm off to the other updates and can't wait for even more! Keep up the good work, dear!

    ~Myrrdin

    Author's Response:

    *Gasp* You missed updates!?

Tobias is one of my favorite characters as well because I can do whatever I want with him and no one can complain he's out of character. He really is a fun character to play with and I hope someone responds to my Tobias Snape challenge.

I love the blend as well. I still don't know who Jeremy Irons is but he does make a great Tobias.

Thanks for the review! Hope you enjoy the rest.

That thing sounds really nasty, I don't know what the heck it is and it better be stopped soon. Between all of them, the professors and Tobias, they should capture it hopefully before it kills Minerva!
I can sympathize with harry, it's always hard to be forced to wait when something bad is going on!

    Author's Response:

I have a strange desire to tell you everthing that going to happen just because I'm excited about it, but I'm restraining myself. Wouldn't want to ruin the surprise after all.

    Thanks for the review!

So Umbridge *was* the caller...does this beast also possess people? And can it do so through the blood quill?

    harms (harm's) way

    where (were)

    Author's Response:

I can't answer many questions. But I promise the creature is totally unrelated to the blood quill. (though that is a good idea)

    Thanks for the review!

Purple people eater...wasn't that a song or a ryme? I used to know it.
    Good chappie!

    Author's Response:

Its a really old song, but still kinda popular.

"one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater..."

    Remember now?

I actually just couldn't think of a good title and at was the fist thing that popped into my head. *shruggs*

    Thanks for the review!

This creature sounds a bit like the door pretending to be walls (or was it walls pretending to be doors?), as mentioned in Harry's first year, only far more malicious. Actually, it sounds like the pretending whosits meets the basilisk in that it can move around and has a thirst for blood.
The story is going GREAT! I sat down and read through both stories this evening, and I'm now horribly impatient to have the next chapter out! I must say, as an American Navy brat, I like the Captain very much; he reminds me of one of my teachers!

    Author's Response:

I can't tell you anything about the creature (even though I'm dying to) because it would ruin the surprise.

I'm glad you like my story, when I first posted I never thought it would be this popular. The Captain seems to be a very popular character, again, I didn't think anyone would like him when I first posted (even though he's one of my favorite characters). I'm also glad that he's realistic enough to remind you of a real person.

Thanks for the review! I'll update as soon as possible.

To think I've been ignoring this story...my. I found Brothers and Fathers last night, and wouldn't go to sleep until I finished it. And today I got to read this one! You're doing a great job.
You sure know how to keep people in suspense, don't you? The monster is rather scary! Tell us what it is? And then just when we think we're getting an answer, you make it attack McGonagall! (I think. That is what happened, right?)
Anyway, keep going and update soon!

    Author's Response:

Yes, the creature did attack McGonagall. I'm glad you liked Brothers and Fathers. I'm really proud of some of it, but the first several chapter need to be redone.

I can't tell you what the monster is. That would ruin the surprise.

    Thanks for the review!
