Your McGonagall is observant, attuned, and proactive - a refreshing change from the norm! I really enjoyed Snape’s reflections.
You keep expressing not only Severus' and Harry's, but McGonagall's thoughts and feelings as well--so very well!
How Touching that Snape overheard

That is totally Hermione, right there. I love it when authors get characters *right* XD
I love INSIGHTFUL!-Harry, and OMG-HE'S-RIGHT!-Snape, because Snape should, as a rule of thumb, always be knocked firmly on his arse once in a while. You know. To rub that knowing sneer off his face. And definately not because we just like the idea of him being sprawled ungracefully on the ground XD
